Warm-ups!

A warm-up in class is very important because it makes a situation more excited or animated; in this case, talking about how the teacher develops in the class. In addtion, a warm up can be the review of the last class: moreover, teachers can have control of their student's knowlege about it.
Warms up such as "Yarn Web," "Last Name Adjective," "People to people" "All you can write" were nice and entertainment because they motivated the class; furthermore, those warm-ups made a good environment between the students.

"Yarn Web" is a cool warm-up because students learn more about their classmates becoming friends when they share the same likes; additionaly, it is a amazing warm-up because students are focus on what their classmates are saying, and they are seeing the way that the yarn is taking while they are throwing to their classmates that shares something in common. Personally , I would use this warm-up for all the ages.

"Last Name Adjective" is a funny warm up, and it makes students laugh a little bit. In that way, students feel motivated. I like the idea to use the first letter of our last name for writting an adjective. In my case is Gomez, so I decided to write "gorgeous". The teacher gave us a recicle paper, but insted of that I would use pink papers for girl, and blue color for boys because  those colors will call students attention even more than use it with simple white recicle paper. This activity can be apply to all students; it does not matter the age.

"People to people" is a amazing warm-up.  Personally, I loved this one because students have a great time; moreover they learned about the name of parts of the body. Also, it encourages to work as team with your couple. I would not change anything about it. It can be use for all the ages, but it work better to students, who are in basic english for learning the parts of the body.

"All you can write" is a good warm-up because it is nice the idea that students work as team for writing all the words that they know about the letter that the teacher gives; however, something that I would change about this activity is the time; I would give less time for writing the words; moreover, I would allow only the representative  to write on the board not all the team because it creates a mess. Of course, the rest of the group can help but they must sit down in their desk since there, they can help to the students, who is writting on the board. On the other hand, I enjoyed this warm because we had a good time with our classmates, having fun, and laughing.

To conclude, warms-up are very important in any class for giving motivation or reviewing the last class.
